15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,


16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth… Everything was created through him and for him. Colossians 1:15 - 17

Our God is so powerful that
He makes the miraculous look ordinary

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

"Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." (John 21: 25, NIV)

The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, Mark 6:30 - 32

he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
32 So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place Mark 6:30 - 32

When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. Mark 6:34

It is incredibly difficult to pour into someone else
when your own cup is running empty

I can’t carry all these people by myself! The load is far too heavy! If this is how you intend to treat me, just go ahead and kill me. Do me a favor and spare me this misery!” Numbers 11:14-15 NLT

As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.” Matthew 14:15-16

Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”Matthew 14:16

When Jesus is about to do the impossible,
He asks us to do the unreasonable

Jesus…said to Philip, as they see the huge crowds “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. John 6:5-9

7 Philip answered him; “It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!” John 6:5-9

8 Another of his disciples, Andrew…spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” John 6:5-9

Luke 9:14 But he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”
15 The disciples did so, and everyone sat down. Luke 9:14-16

16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. Luke 9:14-16

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” John 6:12

1. Start with what you have.


“What is that in your hand?” Ex. 4:2

2. Give what you have to Jesus.

God is great not just because nothing is too big.
God is great because nothing is too small.

So give yourselves completely to God. Stand against the devil…8 Come near to God, and God will come near to you. James 4:7-8

3. Obey what He says.

“If you love me, obey my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit… John 14:15-17
