STARVING FEARS - Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything...
FEEDING TRUST IN GOD - Philippians 4:6 … but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Praying affirms:
1. God’s presence - Matthew 6:9–10 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
2. God’s provision - Matthew 6:11 Give us today our daily bread.
3. God’s protection - Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
Desperation shouldn’t drive us to worry but to trust God.
BEING THANKFUL - Philippians 4:6 … with thanksgiving...
Thankfulness assigns new meaning to disappointments.
