Welcome to Agincourt Church this morning! We're so glad you have joined us today.

This is week 5 of our 5 week series, "Conversations About The Holy Spirit". Today's teaching, "The Spirit In Community", is by Pastor Keith Smith, Lead Pastor.

See below for a short article from Pastor Jonathan, teaching notes and announcements.
Welcome to a series that is going to encourage you to be talking about the person of the Holy Spirit. There are so many mysterious aspects, questions and often misrepresentations of who the Holy Spirit is and what the Holy Spirit does, in and through us, as we follow Jesus.

During our weekend gatherings and in our Community Groups, Pastor Keith Smith, Dr. Van Johnson and I will be inviting you into a conversation about the gifts of the Spirit, the baptism of the Spirit, the leading of the Spirit and an invitation to experience every life-giving aspect of the Spirit’s work and presence.

So join us with your questions, apprehensions and expectation as we embark on a conversation about the Holy Spirit!

Jonathan Smith
Lead Pastor
1. CONTRIBUTE for the edification of others
“What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up."

~ 1 Corinthians 14:26
2. CONFINE your private worship to your private worship times
“Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you…I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue. Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children..."

~ 1 Corinthians 14:6,18-20a
3. CONSIDER the unbeliever and new people
“…inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?”

~ 1 Corinthians 14:23b
