RECAP: FIXER UPPER
In this series we’re looking at renovating our lives and building strong families. We’re looking at God’s blueprints in Ephesians 5 & 6. Today we talked about building together as one. That means we need to be selfless and invest in the family. It means we need to talk about it and model it so we’re all on the same page.

GROUP QUESTIONS
1) Who is in your family? How would you describe your family?
2) We talked about being selfless in the message today. What do you think that looks like in the role of your family?
3) How do you balance being selfless along with teaching responsibility to kids and helping them to eventually leave & succeed? How do you balanace being selfless in a relationship without getting taken for granted/walked on?
4) Part of building together is modeling. Read Deut 6:5-8. This talks about modeling consistently in word and action. Why do you think this is important? How have positive/negative models effected your life?
5) Modeling is important. What are some ways to do this intentionally in your family situation? It can be to your kids, spouse, grandkids or even in a dating situation.
6) What are some things you can do to build together as one in your family?
