*We focused on purpose & ministry last week, this week we are going to focus on "treasure"

Why is our "treasure" so important to God?

FIRST FRUIT giving/TITHING (same Biblical principle)

How we HANDLE our money and possessions shows us about our TRUST

-What we do with our LIFE and our RESOURCES matter to God (stewardship)

FCC finance stuff:

*Monthly updates will start to be included in church bulletins

*$15,000 of $20,000 match grant is "in",let's finish strong

YEARLY ASSESSMENTS (SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS)

-"Above Average" in:

Outreach event attendance

Community focus

% of FCC that are involved in FCC Ministry teams

-Below average in: giving

...It's time for us to correct it, start standing more on our own

...Still have outside support & grants, will continue to seek them

...Baby steps: "FIRST FRUITS" IN MIND

If 2%, start at 4%, if "tipping" go to regular, If regular, go towards tithing, if 2%, go towards 4%

...Like we talk about most weeks: a better Christ-follower today than yesterday, more focused on Christ next week than last week
