If knowing and being reconciled to God through Christ is where the most joy is experienced, how do we have joy in Christ?
-Seriously pursuit an ongoing relationship with Jesus (v1-4)
-Put to death what is sinful in you (v5-10)
-Live in unity and harmony with each other as God’s family (v11)
-Become an expert in how good God has been to you (v11-17)

The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that we worship God with tithing as a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
