We now come to the most difficult chapter in Daniel, and yet, it calls for a detailed explanation. This is the last, longest, most detailed, and therefore most important, prophecy in the book. It has been introduced in chapter 10 and it covers the entire forty-five verses of chapter 11 as well as the first four verses of chapter 12. It concludes with a postscript in chapter 12:5-13.
