THOUGHT: We can run, but we can't hide.

The reason God sent Jonah to preach "against" Nineveh is that its wickedness had come up before Him.

Jonah's name means "dove."

Jonah learned something...you can run from God, but you can't hide.

For some of us, we relate to Jonah and run from what God called us to do because we are driven by personal agenda’s and goals. Not always bad, but not what God called us to.

Some of us are running because religion was crammed down our throats as younger people and we are rebelling against that authority.

Some of us run because we are running from the ugliness of what our life has become or what someone has told us we have become.

Some of us run because we are scared.

Some of us run, like Jonah, because we don’t want God telling us what to do.

Sometimes we are running just to escape but we really don’t know what from.

Is it time to make the decision to follow Him and his wisdom ways in all of life?

Is it time to live out His purpose for your life?
