Big Idea #1- Getting the Vertical Aspect of Life is the key to success in the horizontal
NOTE: as you think about this big idea, have you prioritized it? Do you live from inside out, or from outside in? Do you believe that God WANTS you, PURSUES you, and LONGS for you? What would it look like, to follow the example of Mary in Luke 10:38-42?

Big Idea #2— Your Integrity matters!
NOTE: as you think about this big idea, know that the word INTEGRITY carries with it the idea of wholeness, that is, I’m disintegrating or losing my wholeness, by treating people as something for me to USE, nor do I treat God as someone I can IGNORE. It is then that I am whole, I have integrity.
2 Timothy 2:21-22 ESV
The Principle of Fleeing
1. We are not commanded to stand/ resist, but flee
2. Those that have lost their integrity did so because they failed to fight temptation in this way.
3. They assumed, “I won’t let it go too far” OR “It’s not a big deal” OR “God loves me anyway.”
4. We must see life as a war and recognize the person we want to become will face tremendous obstacles & temptations.
WHAT TEMPTATIONS DO YOU FACE IN BECOMING WHO GOD CALLS YOU TO BE?
Genesis 39:20-23 ESV
Sovereignty=means if God is in control, then all things are woven into His plan, which means, pain, suffering, disappointment, evil, abuse, neglect, loneliness, disappointment and confusion—though NOT DESIGNED by God FOR YOU, become woven into HIS PLAN OF TRANSFORMING YOU.
Big Idea #3: What God does IN you is key to what God does THROUGH you
Faithfulness is a rather bland, un-exciting character trait that God just happens to think the world of.
