The power and the importance of the gospel and how it can save people from sin.
Romans 2:
God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus and the law cannot save you…
Romans 3:
God’s faithfulness and everyone is the same…no one will be declared righteous by observing the law… we need the gift of God’s grace that redeems us through Jesus.
Romans 4:
Abraham was justified by faith and it was credited to him as righteousness.

Jesus was raised from the death for our justification.
Romans 5:
We can have peace with God through Jesus by whom we have gained access by faith into this grace.

God demonstrates His love for us in the fact that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.
Romans 6:
When we were baptized into Christ we were baptized into His death, buried with Him and raised from spiritual death into newness of life and have been freed from sin.
Romans 7:
Our struggle with sin is a part of what we deal with.
Romans 8:
Life through the Spirit…anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ.

The future glory we look forward to…we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.

Paul would reject salvation IF…
Romans 9:2 – Paul is in anguish!

“Anguish” = great (megas)
Paul was willing to be cut of from Christ IF that would save others!
Paul was willing to go to hell for his kinsman in exchange for three things:

1) To keep them from going to hell.
2) To persuade them that Jesus Christ was the Savior and Messiah.
3) To allow his kinsman to experience and enjoy the blessings of salvation offered through Jesus by God’s grace.
Paul gave EVERYTHING HE HAD…

Paul gave EVERYTHING HE HAD AND EVERYTHING HE WAS, so that people would come to know Christ!
