· Be truthful - no lies, no pretense

· Truthfulness = trust & trust is foundational to every healthy relationship

· Live in truth, honesty, transparency - it is the path to great communication and personal peace

· If you are going to conquer this stressor you must be intentional, it will not fix itself

· Be angry, but deal with it, have the difficult talk

· Don’t bury your anger, deal with it

· Prioritize time for good communication

· Communication is powerful – speak words of life, not death (Proverbs 16:24, Proverbs 15:1)

· Speak words of encouragement, grace and hope

· You can speak difficult words of truth with love that will build up and not tear down

· Words of hope, appreciation and love are the things that can breathe new life, even into a broken relationship

Assignment: This week with your most important relationships, sit them down and tell them some of the things you most appreciate about them and their heart.
