Adore: to worship; to express reverence and homage. The forms of adoration among the Jews were putting off the shoes (Exodus 3:5; Joshua 5:15), and prostration (Genesis 17:3; Psalms 95:6; Isaiah 44:15; Isaiah 44:17; Isaiah 44:19; Isaiah 46:6).
Behold: íde (the aorist imperative of eídō, "to know, see") – properly, a Greek imperative meaning “Behold!” – literally, “Be sure to see . . . !,” i.e. “Don't miss this! It is an observable, objective fact!”
