The Prominence of the Second Coming in Scripture
The Second Coming of Jesus is different than the Rapture of the Church
The Chronology of the Second Coming
Jesus returns with His heavenly armies including angels and the saints
Before coming to Jerusalem he goes over Bozrah (Petra) where many of the remnant of Israel are hiding and become believers when seeing Jesus
His feet touch down on the Mt of Olives (Zechariah 14:4a)
This causes a great earthquake which splits the Mt of Olives north and south and causes a valley from Jerusalem eastward to the Mt of Olives (Zechariah 14:4)
This earthquake results in water gushing out from under the Temple sending rivers rushing to the Dead Sea (former sea) in the east and the Mediterranean Sea (hinder sea) to the west (Zechariah 14:8)
This will be “living” water (not stagnant) resulting in the desert blossoming (Isaiah 35:1)
The Lord shall be King over all the earth (Zechariah 14:9) as He sets up His millennial Kingdom (Revelation 19:11-20:15)
