If we are not enculturating our children in the things of God they will be enculturated by the surrounding society that will always happen. Your children will not remain neutral.

1. We are to love our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

2. God's Word is to be on our hearts first.

3. We must take God's Word and teach it, talk of it, bind it, keep it before our eyes, write it all before our children consistently when we sit, when we walk, when we lie down, when we rise up.

The family is made by God to be a theological community.

1. We must tell our children the glorious deeds of the Lord, His might and the wonders He has done.

2. We are to teach our children and our children's children.

3. We are to do it as a community.

1. Put their hope, confidence, trust in God.

2. Not forget the works of God.

3. Keep (obey) God's commandments.
