Did you know that Historians believe that Peter spent a great amount of time with Mark (known as John-Mark) and it's likely that Mark's gospel is based on much of Peter's point of view?

Peter's Mistakes:
> Nearly drown trying to walk on water like Jesus.
> Tried to tell Jesus that his pending death should not happen.
> Cuts off the ear of the Temple Guard arresting Jesus.
> Denies even knowing Jesus 3 times during his trial before the Sanhedrin.

How do we, too, look at things from a human point of view more than from God's?

God, today I see my need for reconciliation with you. I recognize that my sin separates me from you with a debt I can't pay, but I believe Jesus has died and risen again to restore me to you.
