Prayer
Father, I come to worship you in my giving.
I acknowledge your blessing IN my life
And your care OF my life.
This is my offering. These are my tithes.

May you supply all my needs
In the days that are ahead.
And may you use my gift to build your Kingdom
And supply the needs of your church.

We’re all looking for handles about how to live through these uncertain times. The first two weeks we talked about:
1) We need to rub hope into the pain and hurt and difficulty our world is going through right now.
2) We are in this together with God.
3) We need to watch our posture (on guard, alert, clearheaded).
4) We need to protect our head and our heart.
5) We nee to encourage and build one another up.

Much of what is in these verses is basic. Every Christian should know to do these things. Why are these fundamental commands so important? It's easy to forget to do the basic things when times are uncertain or difficult.

Questions to ask yourself in response to God:
1. What kind of a follower of God are you? Do you trust your coaches? Do you trust God? Are you a blamer or a blesser?
2. How supportive are you of your teammates? Of others?
3. Are you doing the small but really important things that grow and mature you? Are you doing the "things you first did?"
