Maybe you've felt forgotten, by others and maybe even by God. Or you know someone who feels like God has forgotten them. God hasn't forgotten you, because He can't. You are tattooed to his hands, He can't forget His own creation. He is the "God who sees me". Jesus consistently "saw" the person everyone else seemed to forget, and He extended love and grace to them. One of the ways God provides for the forgotten is through a church family. Embrace his provision for you by engaging and taking your next step. If all of this is true, then God also wants us to stand up, speak out, and befriend those that feel forgotten.

GROUP QUESTIONS
1. Were you ever forgotten? (this may be serious or something funny) What happened?
2. Watch Angel's video (below). What strikes you about his feelings?
3. Have you ever felt forgotten by God? What happened & how did you feel?
4. What does Isaiah 49:14-16 say about us being forgotten by God?
5. Read Genesis 16:13. What would that do for you to KNOW that God sees you? Would that change how you view your circumstances or situations?
6. Read John 5:1-9. Who initiates the action? Do you see anything in the passage that shows the guy deserves this? That Jesus picked him for a reason? What does this passage tell us about Jesus' heart?
7. What can you do to remember that God hasn't forgotten you when your circumstances seem to suggest otherwise?
8. What can you do this week to befriend someone who may feel forgotten?

PRAYER:
Read Psalm 139:23-24. Repeat David’s prayer as your prayer and ask God for strength to face the decisions to live a pure life following in a relationship with Him.
