RECAP
Have you ever wondered if God is for you? We’ve been talking about a God for the rest of us throughout this series, but that question often comes when life is hard. In those painful moments, we can often question God. Today we say that Jesus feels our pain and wants to bring hope, healing and peace to our lives. He can even redeem us and bring purpose to our pain and turn our misery into ministry.

GROUP QUESTIONS
1. Do you think most of our pain in life is from our own bad decisions or from bad experiences?
2. What was been a hard situation/painful experience that you’ve experienced?
3. How did you respond to God in this situation? Did it cause you to question or to call out? Did it help build your faith or did you not see God in this situation?
4. Read Luke 7:11-17. How would you describe Jesus in these verses? How do you think this applies to Jesus in the middle of our hurting?
5. Read 1 Peter 5:7. What does that look like in your life?
6. Why is it hard to trust God when life doesn’t go as planned? Why is it important to trust God in those moments?
6. In your groups, take some time to share something you’re facing now. Pray for each other during the week and follow up and support each other. Ask God to bring peace, hope and healing to each other.
