MAKING SPACE--EPISODE 3
October 2017 series: MAKING SPACE I pray this series will be the catalyst for you and I to intentionally step into the space of grace God gives every. single. day. The grace which takes space in us forms our identity, giving power to live beyond the hard, hope despite the hopelessness of situations, and a love which always wins. It’s said in I Corinthians 15:10, which I translate as a life-statement: “I am what I am by the grace of God.” Grace changes how you and I live. The power of grace frees us of strongholds, giving the courage and ability to step out of the realm from whatever and whoever has enslaved us. Grace is God’s favor, providing a daily opportunity to live the best life. BUT. (Yes, it’s a big BUT.) It doesn’t stop there. When grace is a key component of life, it’s generously given to others. Grace is an unexpected and undeserved gift. The thing is . . . the world is never the same . . . when space for grace is offered. Because. What's up:
Today: LIVING BEYOND what you thought life would be.
(There are times life does not go the way we planned or dreamed. Then, what?)

THE READING
2 Corinthians 8:9
You know the grace that has come to us through our Lord Jesus the Anointed. He set aside His infinite riches and was born into the lowest circumstance so that you may gain great riches through His humble poverty.
John 1:14
The Voice took on flesh and became human and chose to live alongside us. We have seen Him, enveloped in undeniable splendor—the one true Son of the Father—evidenced in the perfect balance of grace and truth.
John 1:15-17
John the Baptist testified about Him and shouted, “This is the one I’ve been telling you is coming. He is much greater than I am because He existed long before me.” Through this man we all receive gifts of grace beyond our imagination. You see, Moses gave us rules to live by, but Jesus the Anointed offered us gifts of grace and truth.
Luke 2:40
There Jesus grew up, maturing in physical strength and increasing in wisdom, and the grace of God rested on Him.
Luke 4:19
(Jesus said) In short, the Spirit is upon Me to proclaim that now is the time; this is the jubilee season of the Eternal One’s grace.
Acts 4:33
The apostles with great power gave their eyewitness reports of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Everyone was surrounded by an extraordinary grace.
Acts 13:43
As the people dispersed after the meeting, many Jews and converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas. Privately Paul and Barnabas continued teaching them and urged them to remain steadfast in the grace of God.
Romans 5:2
Jesus leads us into a place of radical grace where we are able to celebrate the hope of experiencing God’s glory.
Acts 20:32
So now I put you in God’s hands. I entrust you to the message of God’s grace, a message that has the power to build you up and to give you rich heritage among all who are set apart for God’s holy purposes.
Isaiah 52:12
Go in confidence and grace—no rushing, no frantic escape. There’s no need to be anxious—the Eternal One goes before and behind you. The God of Israel paves the way with assurance and strength. He watches your back.
Romans 16:24
[ May the grace of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, touch you all. Amen.]

MORE
Acts 1
7 The Father, on His own authority, has determined the ages and epochs
8 Here’s the knowledge you need: you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. And you will be My witnesses, first here in Jerusalem, then beyond to Judea and Samaria, and finally to the farthest places on earth.
13-14 Back in the city, they went to the room where they were staying—a second-floor room. This whole group devoted themselves to constant prayer with one accord: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (the Zealot), Judas (son of James), a number of women including Mary (Jesus’ mother), and some of Jesus’ brothers.

Luke 1
28 Greetings! You are favored, and the Lord is with you! [Among all women on the earth, you have been blessed.]
38 Here I am, the Lord’s humble servant. As you have said, let it be done to me.
