hey

Heart for Huber Food Pantry will be open this Wednesday from 6-6:30pm.

Women's Service Day at the Ronald McDonald House

The Women's group will be volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house on Saturday, Nov 4th. We need a group of 10 ladies to be onsite in the afternoon/early evening to prepare and serve a meal for the residents. We would also be collecting items to donate to the house from their wishlist. The list includes easy to prep food items and cleaning supplies. Items will be collected through October 29. There are copies of the wish list available in the foyer.

Food for Huber

Each month we get the privilege of serving more than 100 families with food and prayer. Our Food for Huber Outreach takes place every third Saturday of the month at 10:30am. We meet at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Old Troy Pike.

There is no word for "obey" in the Hebraic language; only the word Shema which means "to hear"

Matthew 1:20-24

We must learn to be quiet.

1 Kings 19:11-13

We must learn to hear God in others.

God uses pastors, scholars, theologians, prophets, songwriters, prayers, authors, fellow attenders, and even people who have no idea they are being used by God to speak to us.

The more we take time to listen…the more
We learn to recognize God’s voice.

God chose to call us sheep not because he thought we were stupid, but because sheep get really good at hearing, recognizing, and following the voice of their leader.

John 10:25-27

Jeremiah 6:16
