In this series we’ve seen that God is for the rest of us. His love is for everyone and it’s unconditional. Today we looked at Warren and Sandy’s story. They are two people who have experienced God’s love at Verve Church in Las Vegas. It causes them to live different and face decisions that aren’t always easy.

1) What has been the most interesting part of this series so far? What has connected with you?
2) In the video today, Vince quoted some data that shows that most young people view Christians as judgmental and hypocritical. What’s your reaction to this perspective?
3) Jesus is seen as kind, loving, compassionate and caring. How can we present that in our lives? Why is that sometimes hard?
4) We talked about the tension between being a light in the dark and staying pure and being different. How have you experienced that tension in your life?
5) Read Luke 11:34-36. Explain those verses in your own words. How can we keep the eye of our lives focused on the light?
6) What are some decisions we can make to live differently but not be seen as judgmental?
7) What do you think it means to honor God with your life?
8) Think to yourself…how do you need to focus your eye more on the light?
