V. 12a,I know what it is to be in need…
“Let not our longing slay the appetite of our living. We accept and thank God for what is given, not allowing what is not given to spoil it.”(Jim Elliot)
If material things are the basis of your contentment, you’ll never be content.
V.12b, …and I know what it is to have plenty.
V. 12c, I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
Paul learned to adapt to change by focusing on Christ who never changes!

Jesus Christ infuses you with his strength as you spend time with him daily.
