(Romans 13:8-14)

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 7:14-15 For we know the Law is spiritual; but I am flesh, sold into bondage to sin. For that which I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Ro.10:9)

a. Lord means master and ruler

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Romans 8:3-11 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh. That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

- Godly love never turns freedom into an opportunity for the flesh (Galatians 5:13)

- Godly love is forgiving (Ephesians 4:32)

- Godly love is willing to sacrifice its own needs and welfare for the needs and welfare of others, even to the point of forfeiting life if necessary (John 15:13)

Mark 10:4-5 The Lord Jesus did not save us from ourselves and sin debt to sit, soak and sour. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)

Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
