The altar, the place of grace where our hearts are strengthened is the cross of Jesus Christ.
Living the Word Applications: Hold on and don't drift...
We are given two warnings in this passage.
Warning #1: Don't be misled. v.9
Ephesians 4:12-14 ESV
Warning #2: Don't be stingy. v.16
Then we have some positive commands:
Be a singer. v.15
Be an imitator. v.7
We are commanded to look to other's example of faithfulness in Christ and imitate them.
Be an outsider...brace yourself. v.13-14
