But they were planning to harm me. Vs. 2c

For all of them were trying to frighten us, thinking, “They will become discouraged…vs. 9a

Then I perceived that surely God had not sent him… vs. 12a

If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men generously and without reproach. James 1:5

#3. Commitment to prayer that STRENGTHENS THEM!

But now, O God, strengthen my hands. Vs. 9b

#4. Common persistence that FOCUSES THEM!

They sent messages to me four times in this manner, and I answered them in the same way. Vs. 4

Remember, O my God, Tobiah and Sanballat according to these works of theirs, and also Noadiah the prophetess and the rest of the prophets who were trying to frighten me. Vs. 14

But I said, “Should a man like me flee? And could one such as I go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.” vs. 11

Lord, how do I become an unstoppable servant?

What is the greatest motivation that draws you; parenting, working, vacation, being at home? Why does it draw you so strongly? Can you have more than 1 compelling purpose in your life?
#2. Clear perception that GUIDES THEM!

In what area of your life has God increased your wisdom? What area would you like your wisdom to be increased? Stop and pray for one another.
#3. Commitment to prayer that STRENGTHENS THEM! But now, O God, strengthen my hands. Vs. 9b. Stop and pray for one another that you might have clear perception and wisdom. Do you think or talk about your problems more than you pray about them? Do you ever sense God’s work in your life when you pray? Have you ever had or do you know someone who’s had a specific prayer answered?
