The early church taught us this lesson:

So, what exactly is fellowship?
Koinonia is… “fellowship, sharing in common, communion.”
· Fellowship is not an option in biblical Christianity.
· Fellowship with other believers is essential to personal spiritual
growth.
· Fellowship is the basis for the functioning of the gifted body.
· Authentic fellowship can only be found in Christ.

Fellowship is Sharing
Us Together in fellowship is first, a “state or condition” determined by our relationship to God.
“Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family, citizens of God’s country, and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (TLB)

This is Fellowship
Us Together is the sharing of something with someone and sharing in something with someone.

When we are in the Word of God - with others
When are you in fellowship - with others
When you are breaking bread - with others
When you are praying - with others
You are the church and the gates of hell cannot stand against it. When you are that close to each other there is no room for discord.
