Song - O Praise The Name
I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds His hands His feet
My Savior on that cursed tree
His body bound
and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone
O praise the Name
of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days
We will sing Your praise
Oh Lord oh Lord our God
Then on the third
at break of dawn
The Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death where is your sting
The angels roar for Christ the King
O praise the Name
of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days
We will sing Your praise
Oh Lord oh Lord our God
He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face
O praise the Name
of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days
We will sing Your praise
Oh Lord oh Lord our God
O praise the Name
of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days
We will sing Your praise
Oh Lord oh Lord our God
Oh Lord oh Lord our God

Song - Holy Spirit
There's nothing worth more
That will ever come close
No thing can compare
You're our living hope
Your Presence Lord
I've tasted and seen
Of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free
And my shame is undone
Your Presence Lord
Holy Spirit
You are welcome here
Come flood this place
And fill the atmosphere
Your glory God
Is what our hearts long for
To be overcome
By Your Presence Lord
Your Presence Lord
There's nothing worth more
That will ever come close
No thing can compare
You're our living hope
Your Presence Lord
I've tasted and seen
Of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free
And my shame is undone
Your Presence Lord
Holy Spirit
You are welcome here
Come flood this place
And fill the atmosphere
Your glory God
Is what our hearts long for
To be overcome
By Your Presence Lord
Your Presence Lord
(Repeat)
Let us become
More aware of Your Presence
Let us experience
The glory of Your goodness
(Repeat x3)
Holy Spirit

Confession and Forgiveness
Most merciful God, we confess that we are by nature sinful and unclean. We have sinned against You in thought, word and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved You with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We justly deserve Your present and eternal punishment. For the sake of Your Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us. Forgive us, renew us, and lead us so that we may delight in Your will and walk in Your ways to the glory of Your holy name. Amen

Song - Songs of Thankfulness and Praise
Songs of thankfulness and praise
Jesus, Lord, to Thee we raise
Manifested by the star
To the sages from afar
Branch of royal David's stem
In Thy birth at Bethlehem
Anthems be to Thee addressed
God in man made manifest
Manifest at Jordan's stream
Prophet, Priest, and King supreme
And at Cana wedding guest
In Thy Godhead manifest
Manifest in pow'r divine
Changing water into wine
Anthems be to Thee addressed
God in man made manifest
Manifest in making whole
Palsied limbs and fainting soul
Manifest in valiant fight
Quelling all the devil's might
Manifest in gracious will
Ever bringing good from ill
Anthems be to Thee addressed
God in man made manifest
Sun and moon shall darkened be
Stars shall fall, the heav'ns shall flee
Christ will then like lightning shine
All will see His glorious sign
All will then the trumpet hear
All will see the Judge appear
Thou by all wilt be confessed
God in man made manifest

The Message
This Sunday's Message:
Confession and Absolution
Pastor: Tim Cartwright
It is easy for us to feel a pressure to be perfect. We can’t let anyone see our flaws and imperfections because we hate feeling judged. Ironically, God is the judge of the universe and when we confess our sins, he calls it worship. Today we will hear from Pastor Tim Cartwright as he shares the power of God’s love to heal us when we confess our sins.

Holy holy holy
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy holy holy
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
blessed Trinity
Holy holy holy
All the saints adore Thee
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea
Cherubim and seraphim
Falling down before Thee
Which wert and art
And evermore shalt be
Holy holy holy
Though the darkness hide Thee
Though the eye made blind by sin
Thy glory may not see
Only Thou art holy
There is none beside Thee
Perfect in power
In love and purity
Holy holy holy
Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise
Thy name in earth and sky and sea
Holy holy holy
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity

The Lord's Prayer
Elder: ...Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray,
All: Trusting in Your mercy, through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord who taught us to pray;
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen

Apostles' Creed
All: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Song - Christ Is Our Cornerstone
Christ is our cornerstone
On Him alone we build
With His true saints alone
The courts of heav'n are filled
On His great love
Our hopes we place
Of present grace
And joys above
Here may we gain from heav'n
The grace which we implore
And may that grace, once giv'n
Be with us evermore
Until that day
When all the blest
To endless rest
Are called away
Oh, then, with hymns of praise
These hallowed courts shall ring
Our voices we will raise
The Three in One to sing
And thus proclaim
In joyful song
Both loud and long
That glorious name
