Start Thinking
Ask questions to get your group thinking.
• Reflect on the story of the woman at the well's encounter with Jesus. How did this seemingly "chance encounter" change the potential trajectory of the woman's life? Have you experienced similar "chance encounters" where someone spoke to your potential?
• The woman in the story had a troubled past that likely earned her a bad reputation. Many would have considered her "too far gone" to experience the true life change that Jesus offers. Have you ever felt that you were "too far gone" for God's grace? Have you felt that others were "too far gone"?

• Father God, I thank you that you have created everything and everyone on purpose and with a purpose. God, it is amazing to me that nothing is insignificant in Your eyes! Father God, help me to see nothing is insignificant and You can and will use it to draw people near to Christ. Jesus, help me to have a heart for people far from You, trusting that no one is too far. And put in me the urgency to share Your love, truth and grace as no time is like now. Amen!
