Tensions (pt. 3: Grace VS. Truth)
One of the hardest things to do in life is to live in tension between two things that are both important and seemingly at odds with each other. However, this is the reality of the Gospel Message. In fact, to live like Jesus means living in constant tension resisting the temptation to drift to one side or the other. This is a lot easier to say than do. In fact, most of us are constantly struggling with tensions like: Do we error on truth or grace? Do we error with Justice or Mercy? Do we drift towards confidence or humility? Over the next few weeks, we will look at some of these tensions and discern how Jesus handled similar tensions in his life.
