The River Day 4: Dig Some Ditches

In the book of Kings we read a story about 3 Kings that take their army out to battle against the enemy except they find themselves in a desert area without water for their men or animals. In danger of losing the battle, they call for a prophet of God who instructs them to start digging. To start digging trenches throughout the valley because overnight, God was going to suddenly release a miracle and supernaturally make the valley full of water.
There’s an outpouring God wants to release at The River and we have to be spiritually prepared to receive and contain what he’s going to do. Those ditches became a conduit to distribute the water. You are the conduit that the Holy Spirit is going to use to pour into so that you can release it in this city. As you pray and dig deeper into the word of God, the Holy Spirit will reveal the heart of God to you. Listen. He wants to speak to you.

DECLARATION
We declare that we will be prepared for your outpouring as we dig ditches to contain and distribute what you want to release over your people. And as we dig deeper, we declare that you will pour out even more till it’s overflowing. We declare strength, wisdom, revelation and supernatural grace to accomplish what you are asking us to do.
