BIG IDEA:Spiritual maturity requires you to pursue the mind of Christ.
1. Humility precedes maturity.
2. The Holy Spirit reveals the path to godly wisdom.
3. The Spirit uses God’s Word to illuminate God’s wisdom.

FFD: Share a time when you looked back and saw that you had grown in your understanding of a Biblical principle/truth. (I remember finally understanding that God’s love and acceptance of me as His child was not conditional. He always loves me and calls me His own, even when He disapproves of my actions.)
1. The pastor shared about Paul needing to be humbled by God before he could be useful for the kingdom of God. What are some aspects of humility we should pursue? (See Philippians 2:1-12; Romans 12:1-3; Proverbs 22:4)
2. The Holy Spirit is our source of insight and wisdom. How does the Holy Spirit impart wisdom to us? (See Colossians 3:15-17; Jude 1:20; and Ephesians 6:18)
3. Our Heavenly Father is so caring He has provided the Holy Spirit to encourage us in our walk with Jesus. How does the Holy Spirit guide us using the Scriptures (the Bible) to help us? (See 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; John 14:25-27)
4. How will you choose to live differently as a result of this study?
