The Name: Jehovah
· The word translated LORD, is the Hebrew word Yahweh (YHWH) which is rendered Jehovah in the English language
· Jehovah is the proper name of God
· Jehovah is a verb, not a noun, taken from the Hebrew word “to be”
· The name Jehovah is closely tied to His attribute of Holiness (Psalm 11:7, Isaiah 6:3)
The Story: Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 3)
