Love All the Way
One of the greatest needs, within every human being
Is not just to be loved, but to give love, for life to have purpose and true meaning.
One of the greatest gifts, you will ever receive,
Is for someone to love you, and in you, they believe.
And yet in life, love can be elusive at best,
More times than not, love feels more like a test.
Life is often filled with disappointments, hurt and pain.
The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and wants us to feel only guilt and shame.
For God so loved the world, that His only Son He gave
That if we believe in Him, we can be saved.
For God so commended His love towards us while we were yet sinners
If we received His love, in life we would be winners.
God doesn't just love us conditionally or when we've done everything right,
He loves us all the way, with all of His power and might.
He loves us deeper than all of our sin,
His love and mercy, endures to the very end.
He loves us in spite of, the worst parts that we have displayed,
He shows us His Love, a Love all the way.
He says to us, "Love each other as I have loved you,
Love each other no matter what, love all the way and I will get you through.
Love all the way, even when you’re not loved back,
Love all the way, when you've been attacked.
Love all the way, don't let offense set in,
Love all the way, and you will always win!
Love all the way, don't stop believing
Love all the way, and God's best you'll be receiving.
Love all the way, because love conquers all.
Love all the way, and you will never fall!
Love all the way, don't stop short for any selfish reason.
Love all the way, and your NEXT, will be your BEST season!
When you love like God, and you love all the way,
You will see God do exceedingly abundant more, than you can ask or pray!
