(Habakkuk 2:2 NCV) “Write down the vision; write it clearly on clay tablets so whoever reads it can run to tell others.”

Victory Church exists to …
help people take the NEXT STEP in their journey of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Nehemiah 8:10 NIV) “...For the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

(Psalm 122:1 NLT) “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’”

What makes us miserable?

(Ecclesiastes 2:17 NIV) “So I hated life...”
* Feeling unproductive.
(SS)
(Ecclesiastes 1:2-4 GN) (2) “Life is useless, all useless. (3) You spend your life working... but what do you have to show for it? ...

(4) The world just stays the same.”
* Feeling tired.

(Ecclesiastes 1:5-8 GN) (5) “The sun rises and goes down... (6) the wind blows round and round and back again. (7) Every river flows into the sea...

[then] the water returns to where the river began and starts all over again. (8) Everything leads to weariness...”
* Feeling unfulfilled.

(Ecclesiastes 1:8-9 LB) (8) “No matter how much we see, we're neversatisfied; no matter how much we hear, we're not content. (9) History merely repeats itself.”
* Feeling helpless.
(SS)
(Ecclesiastes 1:15 GN) “You can't straighten out what is crooked; you can't count things that aren't there!”
An Enjoyable Life

(John 10:10 AMP) “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

1. Define what really matters.

(Philippians 1:15-18 NIV) (15) “It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. (16) The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.

(17) The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.

(18) But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.”
2. Develop a deep love for people.

(1 Peter 3:10 AMP) “For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile.”

(1 John 3:18 TLB) “Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions.”
3. Depend on your relationship with God.

(Ecclesiastes 2:25 NCV) “...because no one can eat or enjoy life without Him.”

(Psalm 51:10-13 NIV) (10) “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (11) Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. (13) Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.”
