OPENING HYMN
“How Great Thou Art”
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hand hath made,
I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,
Thy pow’r throughout the universe displayed;
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
THE INVOCATION:
P: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
C: Amen.

CONFESSION AND ABSOLUTION:
P: Let us cast the burdens of our sins and the weariness of our souls upon the Lord who brings relief and rest.
P: Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all things, Judge of all people, we admit and confess our sinfulness. We have often turned away from You in our thinking, speaking and doing. We have done those things which we ought not to have done and we have too often failed to do what we ought to have done. We do repent and are truly sorry for all our sins know and unknown, remembered and forgotten.
C: Have mercy upon us, Holy Father, because of the obedience of Jesus Christ, Your son and our Savior. Amen.
P: The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. By His sacrifice on the cross our sins are fully and freely forgiven. May He keep you in His grace by the Holy Spirit, lead you to greater faith and obedience, and bring you to live with Him forever through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
C: Amen.

PSALM OF THE DAY: Psalm 144:9-11, and 15
P: I will sing a new song to you, O God;
C: upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to you,
P: who gives victory to kings,
C: who rescues David his servant from the cruel sword.
P: Rescue me and deliver me
C: from the hand of foreigners,
P: whose mouths speak lies
C: and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
P: Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall!
C: Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
P: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
C: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

PRAYER OF THE DAY
P:Gracious Lord, your love never ends. We are reminded that nothing can separate us from your love. You showed your love at the cross and give us your love by your grace. Inspire us to reflect your love to those we interact with each day. In the precious name of Jesus.
C: Amen.

Romans 8:31-39

Luke 10:17-20

NICENE CREED
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of His Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, Being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary And was made man; And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried; And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures; And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead; whose kingdom will have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Lord and giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets. And I believe one holy Christian and Apostolic Church, I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins, and I look for the resurrection of the dead; and the life of the world to come. Amen.

SERMON HYMN
“How Great Thou Art”
But when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in—
That on the cross my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin;
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

PRAYERS OF THE CHURCH

LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

CLOSING HYMN
“How Great Thou Art”
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!

How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
