Our hearts are complicated, we have poles of contradictions within ourselves. We are walking contradictions, with extreme poles in our hearts. The turmoil, disagreements, and hatred that we see in our world; are also seen in ourselves.
Luke 9:51-56 NIV
God’s love transcends the extremes of our hearts. We begin to understand that it’s not my good qualities that make God love me, and my ugliness that will keep me from him. That in Christ, God is working all things for the good.
Creating grace-centered communities begins with my own heart.

- to evaluate your politics through the filter of your faith rather than create a version of faith that supports your politics?
- to follow Jesus when following Jesus creates space between you and your political party, platform, or candidate?
- to disagree politically with someone who is part of community here, but continue to love them unconditionally?
