Recap: In the smash hit La La Land, we see the story of Sebastian and Mia two dreamers in Hollywood who are chasing their individual dreams and falling in love. The movie raises the question about what we're willing to sacrifice for our dreams and if we can have both love and our dream (and which is most important). In the message we asked the question: do you have the right dream? We need to be willing to sacifice for our dreams, but we need to make sure they are the right ones & that Jesus is at the center. Ultimately we need to be willing to sacrifice our dreams for God's dreams for us - because His dreams will always be bigger and better than our own.

1. Do you have any recurring dreams? What are they?

2. What was one of your biggest dreams growing up (or even now)?

3. "we need to have a big dream and to dream big but it has to be the right dream". What do you think that means?

4. God created us to dream big dreams, but He needs to be at the center. What do you think that might look like?

5. Read Genesis 15:3-6. What did God do with Abraham's dreams? What might he be able to do with yours? What does our response need to be?

6. Think about your dreams. Then ask these questions: what's driving your dream? Is it others centered? Is Jesus at the center of that dream?

7. Read Romans 12:1-2 GNT. can you sacrifice your dream for God's dream?

Take time and think about your dreams. Pray through the questions in #6 above. Evaluate your dreams and be willing to let them go depending on your answers above.

God, help me to be willing to sacrifice for my dreams, but also to be willing to sacrifice my dreams for your dreams for me. I want you at the Center. I know that your dreams for me are best. Help me to trust you. To follow you. Place a dream in my heart and mind that has you at the Center. Do something bigger and better in my life than I could have ever dreamed.
