Services on site have resumed, and we are so excited to be back with you all. Please go to hittheriver.com , under the events tab, and register for the service you would like to attend. Anchored at-Home Virtual VBS- July 20, 22, and 24
Grab your neighbors, friends, and family and make a splash with the ultimate at-home Vacation Bible School! During Anchored VBS, kids embark on an undersea adventure, diving deeper in their faith and discovering the unwavering love of God! Pick up all of the supplies that you will need at the church anytime between July 17-20. We will meet each day (July 20, 22, and 24) on Zoom for worship, videos, lesson, and more from 7:00—7:45pm. American Heritage Girls (AHG)
AHG is a biblical scout group to encourage girls to grow into women for God. Our Troop welcomes girls grades K-12. We meet September-May the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the church, while still doing a fun activity and service project each month. During the summer months, we meet once a month for a fun activity to stay connected. We will be having an ice cream social outside, on July 21, from 6:00-8:00pm. Sleep in Heavenly Peace
The River Church is committed to being sure no kids sleep on the floor through our partnership with SHP. We are doing a “build day” on Saturday, August 8th from 8 am – 12. Work stations will be spread out for social distancing and we are having family members work together. You can register to volunteer beginning this Wednesday at HitTheRiver.com ALSO, financial donations are needed. The cost per bed is $350. Beginning Wednesday you can give online and use the dropdown list to designate a gift to SHP. In addition, The River donates a children’s Bible to every family in Butler County that receives a bed!

River Youth- Water Wars August 9
Students in 6th-12th grade are invited to join us for the River Youth’s annual Water Wars event. The night will involve all kinds of water-related games/competitions for students to enjoy. We will also be bringing back the giant slip n slide this year! It will be so much fun that you won’t want to miss. If you have any questions contact Zach@HitTheRiver.com.

Cultivating Prayer - Family
We are in the midst of an election cycle. Now is the appropriate time for the people of God to mobilize intense prayer for the election process. The decisions being made by candidates and potential candidates are critical and must be undergirded by prayer. It is imperative that we pray faithfully, daily, for the upcoming elections, yet our hope and trust is not in the results of elections! It is in God! Ask God to help you remember we need to keep our eyes on Him.

Israel Trip 2020
Visit Israel December 1-8, 2020 with Pastor Brad & Heidi! Walk where Jesus walked in Jerusalem. Be baptized in the Jordan River. Go out on the Sea of Galilee. If you’re married, renew your marriage vows in Cana. There’s a brochure on the credenza in the lobby with more information or talk to Pastor Brad and Heidi.
