Grace Point Church
When Jesus died on the cross, religion died with him. As he rose from the dead, religion stayed in the grave. Jesus did not come to start a religion but to secure for us the grace necessary to be the end of religion. The church is not in the religion business; it is in the Gospel-proclaiming business. Religion gives us an unending list of rules that never quite seems possible to complete, but Jesus came to give us life and life to the fullest and freest. Perhaps our view of Christianity, Jesus, God, church and the Bible as a religion is not accurate. What does the Bible actually say about religion? It is dead!
