Week 6 - Right Here Waiting

Week 6 - Right Here Waiting

What’s your favorite love song? The Spirit led Paul to write one to the church at Corinth. To teach what love is and isn’t Paul turned to the greatest illustration of love. By listening and looking to Jesus we can learn to love one another well in any age and season.

About FM First Baptist

Flower Mound First Baptist has been making much of Jesus in the Timber Creek area for over 30 years. Every week we gather to magnify Christ in word & deed, mature as Christ-followers, and multiply and make disciples for Christ. Our garden is a living parable of the Good Gardener's work in and through us.

“Whatever it takes, or how my heart breaks, I will be right here waiting for you.”

“Right Here Waiting”
Richard Marx, 1989
God is in control.
God is active in our lives.
Love waits through suffering.
Jesus is making all things right.
Jesus loves us patiently and loves through us patiently.

SONG LYRIC // Jesus Is Better

Jesus Is Better

Verse 1
There is no other so sure and steady, my hope is held in Your hand
When castles crumble and breath is fleeting
Upon this rock I will stand; upon this rock I will stand

Chorus 1
Glory glory we have no other King but Jesus Lord of all
We raise the anthem; our loudest praises ring
We crown Him Lord of all

Verse 2
Your kindly rule has shattered and broken the curse of sin's tyranny
My life is hidden 'neath Heaven's shadow
Your crimson flood covers me; your crimson flood covers me

Bridge
In all my sorrows Jesus is better; make my heart believe
In ev'ry vict'ry Jesus is better; make my heart believe
Than any comfort Jesus is better; make my heart believe
More than all riches Jesus is better; make my heart believe
And our souls declaring Jesus is better; make my heart believe
And our song eternal Jesus is better; make my heart believe

Chorus 2
Glory glory we have no other King but Jesus Lord of all
Glory glory we have no other King but Jesus Lord of all
We raise the anthem; our loudest praises ring
We crown Him Lord of all; we crown Him Lord of all
