hey
We’ve been asking a lot of questions throughout this series on Joseph:
Do you know why you were born?
Do you know who you are?
Are you willing to wait for God?
How big is your God?
Are you ready to face your past?
Do you want to be set free?
Are you satisfied with God?
How will you be remembered?
This morning we are asking the last question in this series:

Can you trust God with the details of your life?

Romans 8:28

Doctrine of Providence

Providence defined:
- God managing his creation in order for creation to fulfill his purpose.
- God’s gracious oversight of the universe.

This doctrine of providence tells us a few things about God:
- God cares about the tiniest details of life
- God uses everything and wastes nothing
- God’s ultimate purpose is to shape us, his children, into the image of Christ (Rom 8:29)

A few examples of verses teaching of God's providence:

Matthew 10:29-30

Acts 17:28

Colossians 1:17

Hebrews 1:3

Proverbs 16:9

Psalm 115:3

Providence assures us that the hand of God is moving through every circumstance of life.

With providence in mind, let's recap the story of Joseph...

Genesis 45:5-8

Genesis 50:19-20

Can you trust God with the details of your life?

Revised:
Will you trust God with the details of your life?

God is good, or he is not.
hey
