Be a Man – Be Jesus!
1 Kings 2:1-3 NIV
Will we choose to be a man and be Jesus?
1 Corinthians 15:45 NIV
Men, are we a living being–merely surviving or a life-giving spirit, breathing life into all around?
Adam and Jesus illustrate two distinct masculine identities and spiritual destinies.
Romans 5:17-19 NLT
The first man Adam chose to stand there and do nothing! Will we?
Genesis 3:6 NIV
The last Adam-Jesus chose to embrace the challenge and do some- thing! Will we?
Titus 2:14 NLT
In Genesis 2-3, God gives Adam five items or directives before pre- senting Eve to him.
The first is God’s Presence!
Men, are we in God’s presence; in a personal relationship with God?
A true man of God first desires God’s presence!
The second is to work!
Men, are we working? Providing for our wife and family?
The third is to cultivate!
Men, are we cultivating? That is bringing out the best in our wife and family?
Ephesians 5:25-28 NIV
The fourth is to guard!
Men, are we guarding and protecting our bride and family?
The fifth is God’s Word!

Men, are we teaching and living God’s Word.

Dudes, are we teaching and living God’s Word.
Let’s be a man and be Jesus!
