A miscalculation, hesitation or dropping of the spiritual baton could cost generations of people.
Bob Russell, “Adult Christians must take seriously the biblical command to ‘pass on the baton of faith’ to the next generation...to drop the baton is to lose the race!”
We can’t afford to drop the baton of faith! Our kid’s eternity is at stake!

How do we successfully pass the baton of our faith on to the next generation? I believe by three ways!
By FOCUSING on the finish line! Are we?
What we do now, in this life, echoes into eternity!
L.I.F.E. Living Is For Eternity! I definitely want my kids with me in eternity! You?

What exactly is our life revealing that we are focusing upon? Is it God or things of this world?

Hebrews 12:2-3

By HOLDING the baton of faith ourselves! Are we?

Deuteronomy 6:5-6

Before we can pass the baton of our faith in Jesus on to our kids, we must personally have and hold on to the baton of faith ourselves! How? Deuteronomy 5:32-6:25 answers.
Are we personally holding on to the baton of faith ourselves or have we dropped it? What needs to change?
By PASSING on the baton of our faith! Are we?

If we’re not passing our faith in God on to our kids what exactly are we passing on to them?

Live by example! Be Jesus! Pass on the baton of our faith to our kids and grandkids! Are we?
We can’t afford to drop the baton of faith! Our kid’s eternity is at stake!

5)If we’re not passing our faith in God on to our kids what exactly are we passing on to them?
6)Are we living by example and passing on our faith in Jesus to the next generation? If not, why?
7)Review the 3 ways to pass on our faith. Which one stood out and why? How are the connected?
