So the church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace, being built up and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, and it increased in numbers.

Trembling in fear Together!

· Fear – awesome, terrifying, respect, reverence
· Fear of the Lord is defined as reverence or awe.
· Jesus taught us to fear the Lord. (Mt 10:28)
· Trembling, shaking in fear when you know you have offended God and not received forgiveness. (Heb 10:26-27)
Fear of the Lord is ______________.
· We learn from fear of the Lord:
i. It is the beginning of knowledge. (Pr 1:7)
ii. It will cause you to hate evil. (Pr 8:13)
· Without fear of the Lord:
i. We flirt with evil and become corrupted.
ii. We will not come to know the love of God.
· God promises mercy when we tremble at His Word. (Pr 103:17-18)
