Humility comes when we are conscious of God’s presence at all times.

A. Self-ADMIRATION- "Look at me!”
B. Self-aggrandizement - "Don't I look good/great?"
C. Self-attention - "Listen to me!”
D. Self-JUSTIFICATION - "I am right!”
E. Self-SUFFICIENCY - "I can do it!”
F. Self-aspiration - “I must win, even if it hurts others!”
G. Self-seeking - "Give me mine!”
H. Self-exaltation - "Praise me!"

Humility comes when we measure ourselves against Christ and not others.
Pride is like a sickness, which, if unattended, may result in a person’s demise.
2. Resist the DEVIL, and he will flee from you.
3. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
4. Cleanse your HANDS works/actions) and purify your HEARTS.
5. Treat others RIGHT (v.11) (your spouse, your children, your church family, co-workers, etc.)
