OUT: A Family On Mission
Every follower of Jesus has been invited OUT, to join Him on His Mission to bring the Kingdom of God into a broken and dying world. We do this by inviting others to follow us as we follow Jesus, learning to become like Him, and doing the things He did.

Worship in Prayer

Let’s join together as the church to declare our gratitude and lift our requests to God as we surrender together to His will for us. Praying together is not limited to our gatherings on Sundays, we can pray together daily as the church! As you pray through these 6 areas, use this prayer guide to help your daily prayer focus all week long

Give thanks and pray:
- for your family
- for your church family, friends, and neighbours
- for our pastors, staff and church leaders
- for healthcare and front line workers
- for Our City and government
- for our EMCC denomination and our Mission Partners

Worship Through Giving

Giving back to God is a regular expression of worship, gratitude and praise.  See our giving options. Offering Prayer: God thank you for everything that you have provided to us. We give back to you as an expression of worship, gratitude, and praise for who you are. You are a good good father. Thank you that through this challenging time, we are assured that we do not need to worry, but trust that you will provide for our needs. Help us to be generous with what you have given, and lead us into opportunities to bless and serve others with the resources you have given to us. In Jesus' name. Amen

Pastor Rob Ford - OUT: A Family On Mission

OUT with the world.
Our understanding of what it means to live OUT with the world comes from our understanding of UP (who God is), and IN (what it means to be a disciple).
The OUT is often the most difficult for us. But we cannot ignore it if we are going to live a Jesus shaped life.
Who did Jesus focus on when He focused OUT? He focused on People of Peace.
See Luke 8, 9 and 10.
This is also who He taught His disciples to look for, and invest in.
A Person of Peace is someone who:
- Welcomes you.
- Listens to you.
- Serves you.
When you find a Person of Peace:
- Stay with them.
- Eat with them.
- Minister to them.
- Tell them the Good News.
We find People of Peace by first Being People of Peace.
What is the Vehicle Jesus used to go OUT?
Jesus used the vehicle of the extended spiritual family. The Greek word for this is Oikos.
Jesus reached OUT into the Oikos. Jesus then invited people into His Oikos.
It is within the Oikos that Jesus taught and modeled for people how to live Up, In, and Out.
