II. MAIN JOB OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
John 16:13
A. Guide: show us the way
B. Truth: Truth is a person, Jesus Christ
1.The Holy Spirits main job is to guide us into an ever increasing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is NOT A ONE TIME experience but a lifelong journey.
John 6:12
Holy Spirit doesn’t give us everything at one time because we could not handle it. However, He will teach us to walk with Jesus.
III. HOW DO WE RESPOND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
A. Receive (Acts 19:1)

2. Empowering at the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
B. Recognize
1. Acknowledge His presence everywhere.
2. The Holy Spirit is with you wherever you go.
C. Obey
1. He can be grieved.
2. Listen to His leading
3. Do what He says
4. He can also be pleased.
D. Worship
1. Sing and praise.
2. Honor His presence.
3. Honor His life with your life.
