What is fasting? To abstain from all or certain foods for a specific time and purpose.
Sincere fasting helps us focus on God and His will.
Sincere fasting helps us focus on God and His will.
Different types of fasting.
Normal: eating no food for a specific length of time.
Absolute: eating or drinking no food or water for a specific length of time.
Supernatural: going without food or water for an impossible amount of time.
Modified: whatever the Lord lays on your heart to deny yourself.
THE KEY: Fast before God with the right motives.
5 Ways you can join us in fasting/focusing this week of Easter
1- Fast one meal a day for five days, taking the extra time to pray.
2- Fast every meal for five days, taking the extra time to pray.
3- Fast a modified fast and refrain from eating something you enjoy,
and pray when you crave it.
4- If you cannot fast food, choose to spend a specific amount of extra
time each day in prayer.
5- Deny yourself some worldly entertainment (TV, Internet, Facebook, etc) for the next 5 days and spend that extra time in prayer and Bible reading.

Humble prayers move the heart of God and release the power of God.
Little prayer = little power, more prayer = more power, mucho prayer = mucho power!
