Biography for Pastor Joe
Pastor Joe was born in the little town of Crasna (Romania). Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the unique connection between pastors and their special book, the Bible. When at the age of 7 he received his first little Bible from a brave pastor who was able to procure it for him in spite of the interdictions of the communist regime, he felt special and decided one day he would become a pastor.
After serving as a Pastor for 8 years in Romania, in 2013 he immigrated to the USA. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church. Along with his wonderful wife Anda and their gorgeous daughter Alessandra, he enjoys proclaiming God’s grace and ministering to his fellows.
By God's grace, in February 2020 I completed my doctoral program obtaining a Doctor of Ministry degree in Preaching/Homiletics from Andrews University. His hobbies are languages, music, and poetry.

I AM the Life
#psdatv #JesusOnly #life #existence #truth #faith #knowledge #belief #hear #obedience #eternal #eternity #gift
Quite often we mistake life for existence. Since I exist, I live… Existence is not life; existence is the container of life; life is the content of existence. What kind of life is this abundant life/life to the full/fullest? "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (Jn. 3:16 NKJ) In fact, life to the fullest is everlasting/eternal life… In the Gospel of John eternal life is already and not yet. It starts now and it extends into eternity… I AM the life… means I am the eternal life…
You are to know the truth as it is in the Truth, Jesus Christ, who introduced God.
Knowing God/the truth is something practical. It’s not theoretical… This experiential knowing means participation, interaction, reciprocity…
This knowledge is progressive. Some say truth is progressive… No! The truth is not progressive. Its knowledge is! You cannot know the truth all at once. You go step by step…
God works with us progressively… But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. (Prov. 4:18 NKJ)If we understood this, it would help us take a more balanced approach in the dispute between science and religion. It would also help with the concept of present truth… Present truth is not fixation on something. Paul says: we know in part… and knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. The Holy Spirit leads us in all the truth… it’s a process!
Eternal life is accepted by faith! This experiential knowing of God/Truth is the bases of our faith. Knowing God precedes faith. 1 John 4:16: And we have known and believed the love that God has for us…But the knowledge of God is a process that continues as a faith relationship. In a biblical sense, faith contains three elements: belief (I believe that…), trust (I believe in…) followed by faithfulness (I conform to what I believe).
Two expressions are used in the Gospel of John: to believe that… and to believe in…
To believe that… refers to intellectually accepting the testimony of Scripture (Moses, Isaiah) and the testimony of Jesus Himself. This seems to be the intellectual, believing dimension of faith. That’s how faith begins: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The second expression: to believe in. "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."(Jn. 3:36)It speaks of the relationship of trust that results in faithfulness to the One who is trustworthy and faithful, the one who is life… and gives life…by laying down his life (10:11).
Here Jesus speaks of a resurrection. Not about the resurrection of the dead, but about the resurrection of those who seem to be alive, but are actually dead. It is a spiritual resurrection as a result of the exercise of faith… a passage into eternal life. Jesus tells Nicodemus that eternal life begins with a new birth. You have to be born again/from above! By water and by the Holy Spirit…
A new birth is needed for life to the fullest. Biological existence in itself is not life! He who loves his existence will lose it anyway… Life to the fullest is a life of faithfulness or obedience to Jesus Christ, an identification with Him.
Was Jesus life an easy life? Did he proclaim Prosperity Gospel?
"Remember the word that I said to you, `A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. (Jn. 15:20 NKJ) In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (Jn. 16:33) Is this what you call life? My cup is full even when according to this world it’s empty
Eternal life is already and not yet… The two aspects of eternal life, present and future, are interdependent. The future reality gives value to the present, and the present determines the future. If you limit yourselves to either the present or the future, you lose both the present and the future.
A beautiful picture of life to the fullest is introduced by Jesus when he speaks to the Samaritan woman at the well. "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, `Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." (Jn. 4:10 NKJ) The woman does not understand much, but Jesus explains: "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." (Jn. 4:14 NKJ)
In other words, if you put your cup there to be filled with living water it will turn into an water fountain… that will spring up in eternity… will shower and quenche the thirst of many.
