Men and women are equal in dignity, value, and worth but have different giftings, and therefore have different roles.
MEN ARE TO BE THE LEADERS, AND WOMEN ARE TO BE THE HELPERS.
If you defy the Designer’s instruction, it will lead to dysfunction and pain.
When men don’t lead, they become passive or aggressive.
When women don’t help, they become helpless or domineering.
Men are gifted at going out on their own and subduing the world through their work.
Women are gifted at drawing people together and empowering them to reach their full potential.
The goal of the complementarian relationship is to pull your spouse away from the dark side of their gifts.
MEN ARE TO BE THE LEADERS, AND WOMEN ARE TO BE THE HELPERS.
Men lead by prayerfully considering the overall direction for the family, putting a plan in place, and keeping a narrow focus.
Women help by filling in the places where he is weak and empowering the family to reach the destination that has been set.
